Dropping a Course

Matriculated students should discuss the decision to drop a course(s) with his/her advisor.

Courses officially dropped with the registrar's office by the end of the 8th calendar day of the semester will receive a 100% refund of tuition, less non-refundable fees. Students in classes which begin after the designated start of the semester will have 8 calendar days from the state of the class to withdraw for a full refund.  Exception: students in courses that meet for two weeks or fewer must drop by the end of the first day of the class. Students registered for workshops must drop in writing at least three (3) days prior to the first workshop session in order to receive full refund of tuition and fees.
